Autism Bedfordshire

Autism Bedfordshire is an independent charity dedicated to improving the lives of autistic people and their families across Bedfordshire. This charity Autism Bedfordshire was a great support to SDC employee, Lena Lazarewicz when her eldest son was diagnosed with autism. The charity provided training sessions, guidance and advice for the whole family in the early years of his diagnosis and then went on to provide training for his support teacher at school. Autism Bedfordshire’s services help break down the barriers to social participation for autistic people and their families by providing places where they can go and feel comfortable, accepted and not judged by society.
