Headway Bedford help their clients in numerous ways which, depending on the injury, can include teaching them how to walk again, how to communicate with others, deal with emotional issues and poor memory, or just how to use cutlery again. SDC employee, Sarah Long, writes: “My dad has been the CEO of Headway Bedford for 16 years and his passion for this charity has really touched me. They provide a huge support for all kinds of brain injury, whether it be from a car accident, sports injury, tumour or fall. He says that the human brain is the most complicated thing in the known universe and rehabilitation has to be a re-learning process, best done in the company of other people.”
