The Lighthouse Club have developed the Building Mental Health initiative to tackle the mental health crisis in the UK’s construction industry. SDC employee, Jacquie Silverton is a trained MHFA Instructor. “Every single working day in the UK two construction workers take their own lives. This devastating fact led me to train as a Mental Health First Aider (MHFA) after which I was fortunate to be accepted onto a Lighthouse Club funded construction co-hort to become a MHFA Instructor to train others to recognise and support those who are experiencing mental health difficulties.”
