Through the commitment of volunteers, RDA East Region helps to improve the health and well-being of people with disabilities in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk, by delivering a real and lasting therapy that not only benefits mobility and co-ordination but encourages confidence and self-worth, achieving goals and having fun. Maggie Shiner, wife of Francis Shiner, was Chair of a branch of the RDA for 7 years. RDA benefit the lives of over 25,000 disabled children and adults with fun activities like riding and carriage driving, therapy, fitness, skills development and opportunities for achievement – all supported by amazing volunteers and qualified coaches. RDA is an inclusive and diverse organisation that welcome clients with physical and learning disabilities along with autism, with no age restrictions.
