To celebrate SDC’s 50th year in business, we are holding a series of fund-raising events to benefit various local charities.
On Saturday 11th June 2022, SDC has arranged a family fun day in Bromham (Bedfordshire), open to all staff, their families and the wider public. The event, held at the Leslie Sell Activity Centre, will include fun fair attractions, inflatables, animal encounters, games, a food court and live music, all in aid of SDC’s chosen charity The Scouts Association.
Founded in 1910, the Scouts organisation provides 4–25-year-olds with a safe place to develop skills and make new friends – welcoming people of all genders, beliefs, and backgrounds. A big part of SDC’s event will focus on the various activities the Scouts has to offer, with Archery, Shooting, Climbing, Caving and Pedal Cars available for all to try on the day.
The family fun day is free to enter and explore, although voluntary donations to the Scouts will be greatly appreciated. Rides and activities will be individually priced, with unlimited ride wristbands available to purchase on the day. The event is set to attract numerous visitors and will be a fantastic day out for the entire family.
